An LED drawing board is easy to start with, but it's nice to have a few ideas ready. Here are 15 we love – most take five minutes and work on any size of ZOPI Glow Board.
Notes and messages
- Good-morning note on the breakfast table.
- Countdown board – "5 sleeps until Christmas", updated each day.
- Glowing name sign for a bedroom door or desk.
- Weekly plan or a short to-do list that actually gets noticed.
- Birthday message waiting when someone wakes up.
Drawing and tracing
- Trace a favourite picture – print it, slide it behind the panel and follow the lines.
- Night sky – stars, a moon and a rocket look great glowing.
- Underwater scene – fish, bubbles and a mermaid in bright colours.
- Neon-style lettering – write one word in thick outlined letters.
- Seasonal art – a Christmas tree, pumpkins or spring flowers.
Games to play together
- Add-a-line – take turns adding one line until the picture is finished.
- Guess the drawing – one person draws, everyone else guesses.
- Tic-tac-toe with glowing Xs and Os – wipe and play again.
- Copy the shape – one draws a simple shape, the other copies it from memory.
- Story board – draw one scene of a story each night.
Tips for the best glow
- Dim the room lights – the effect is strongest in low light.
- Use the markers from the box; test other markers on a corner first.
- Bold, thick lines glow more than thin ones.
- Wipe with the cloth; use a slightly damp cloth for dried ink.
